Luke Bryan-Crash My Party

 Luke Bryan's "Crash My Party" is a far cry from his insanely popular "tailgates and tan lines" released last year. Don't get me wrong, songs like "Beer in the Headlights", " I See You", "Play it Again, and "Dirt Road Diary" are fantastic and lyrical but, "Goodbye Girl" and "Shut it down" are a little too slow for the rest of the album. This isn’t bad news, necessarily. ‘That’s My Kind of Night’ kicks off the album, setting a tempo that the remaining 12 songs can’t keep up with. Mid-tempo tracks about love and loyalty make up the bulk of ‘Crash My Party.’ What happened to the upbeat, Bachelor-like, Luke Bryan? Sure his lyrics are heart wrenching, but what Luke Bryan needs is more concert songs. He's not going to preform all these slow songs, his audience wants new upbeat country songs to dance inappropriate to. "I can't go anywhere, I can't do anything
No, I can't close my eyes without you in my dreams
You won't leave me alone, even though I know you're gone I look around for someone new, but I see you
." We get it Luke Bryan, you're having girl problems, your fans aren't going to spend an insane amount of money to see you in concert if you're crying on stage about your girlfriend breaking up with you. We need more songs like "Country Girl" or "Thats my kind of night."

The emotion that Lee puts into his music is what sets him apart from any other artist. In many cases, Lee Brice includes stories from his younger years. He uses his ability to relate to other listeners as an advantage on bringing in more listeners. This album features a very unique style of music. There is a rock tone in the background, but the main style is a harder version of country. With his own style of music it makes him his own artist. Lee Brice has been able to establish himself into the country music world. He appeals to country music and also modern rock fans.

In the singers third album, he found an ideal balance between a new age high energy sound and the sing songy and romantic qualities of country music. The album's opener "Country Girl," sets the tone for the album with an infectious dance beat while still keeping poetic lyrics. Lyrics such as "Spin me around this big ole barn, tangle me up like grandma's yarn" are matched with an up tempo beat for a match made in heaven. The fifth track on the album "I Don't Want  This Night to End" keeps a classic country theme of pursuing a girl while also getting stuck in the heads of pop music fans.
