NINTENDO 3DS

After a very sad loss to Central Highschool, I decided to go buy myself a Nintendo 3DS and start  reliving my childhood. I had been saving money for a while and decided that it would be a good purchase to get the spirits up. I alsop bought Pokemon Y to go along with the DS because  Pokemon was always my favorite gameboy game as I was growing up.

At first I was a bit skeptical of the 3D, but not long after starting to play I saw what an awesome feature It was. The 3D capabilities where impressive and do not even require the use of 3D glasses that most other 3D technologies use. Although it consumes the battery a bit faster then when not using the 3D, It enhances the game greatly.

Pokemon Y took great advantage of these new 3D features by incorporating them into battle animations and many of the scenes are in 3D. Pokemon Y also released a new generation of Pokemon, being the VI generation. The new generation was also accompanied by the introduction of mega evolutions, Mega evolutions added a new spin to some of the most famous Pokemon in the game.

Along with Pokemon I also got the new Mario kart game, Mariokart7.  the Mariokart series, although never making huge changes, has been one of my favorite nintendo games. Mariokart7 brought in a few new maps and arenas as well as new power-ups that have not been in any of the other Mariokart games.

I really look forward to playing more games on my DS.
