The album Discovery was the second studio album released by the french techno group Daft Punk. Daft Punk is a group of french musicians whose genre consists of Dance electronica made up of two musicians Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter. Daft Punk became successful in the 1990s in France and later spread to the United States and the rest of the world. Discovery marked a shift from Chicago house to post-disco music for Daft Punk. When asked about this album Thomas Bangalter "This album has a lot to do with our childhood and the memories of the state we were in at that state of our lives... When your a child you don't judge or analyze music. You just like it because you like it. You're not concerned with whether its cool or not."
