Different Life

When people ask me what country is better, Korea or America, I tell them that I like both of the country and cannot choose. Both country is unique in their own way it is hard to decide. It comes down to two type of categories. For living or for visit.

Living in Korea is very hard because its such a small country. Longest driving I went in Korea was only 3-4 hours. And all the prices in Korea are almost double or triple the money when it comes to buying things. Buying a $100,000 car would be $300,000 in Korea. Because the land is so small that buying a house is very expensive. Even the houses that are not near the capital are expensive. A small apartment, that is nearly not big as a regular house in America, average cost is $400,000 to $600,000. These apartment includes 2 bathroom and 5 bedrooms. Getting a small apartment with one room still cost $200,000 to $300,000. Compared to America, living expenses are cost much more.

But other than that, Korea is a great place to visit. Lots of tourists go to Korea for food and shopping. Korean capital city Seoul has many place to eat and hangout. Korea is popular for their foods but mostly shopping malls. Buying imported objects such as cars and electronics could be expensive but anything that was made in Korea is very cheap, such as foods and clothes. Korean foods are so cheap that my family never eat home. This is cheaper than buying ingredients to make food. It saves money, time and energy.

The reason why I like America is because of the large space and good environment and air. At night you could see the stars in the sky which in Korea, you cannot find any stars in the sky. But being large could also bring discomfort. People need cars to go everywhere. Unlike in Korea, the transportation system is very easy to follow and cheaper than owning a car. America still has great air and don't have to worry about getting sick often.

When I grow up, unless I earn alot of money, I am going to live in America. But it really depends on where my parents are going to live. I would like to stay close to them.
