Visiting College

Its been about a month since I have seen my older brothers and I finally get to see them this Saturday! This past month I have gone from being the third child to an only child, and I have not been adapting to it well. I have always had my brothers there whether I wanted them or not, and when I messed up there were always two other people to pass the blame on to. But now that there is only me, when someone didn't put the dishes away or spilt the milk all over the table and didn't clean it up, passing the blame onto my dog isn't that useful. Although it has been a weird month to say the least, I am more then excited to go up to college and see them again before thanksgiving break when they come home. To add more pressure on seeing them for the first time in 30 days (I did the math), its their birthday and I still have NOTHING to give them because I don't know what the heck a college student needs. Probably just some more ramen. I wanted to give them something nice and I was prepared to get them great presents, but instead I have decided to wisely spend all of my money on a concert and outfit for said concert. For their moving in gift I got them shot glasses, a rubber duck, and a dollar for when they are completely broke, so I am pretty sure that no matter what I get them for this weekend it will most likely be better than the last gifts. Besides stressing about their birthday presents, there is so much more on my mind, like what if their roommates are super annoying, or I drop food on me and then have to walk around a campus for the day looking like a bum? Either way, fortunately I will be able to see them at least for a couple of hours and then be forced to come back into my life as an only child until next visit.
