The Blobfish

The blobfish located off the coast of Australia are at risk of extinction by the threat of overfishing. The blobfish lives at a depth of 2,600 feet where lobsters and crabs inhabit and the blobfish tend to get caught in the nets of fisherman searching for lobsters and crabs. The blobfish's appearance is very unsightly with its pink saggy skin, grumpy face and jellyfish like look. Recently the fish has been recognized by the Ugly Animal Preservation Society as the world's most ugliest animal. It seems that the world does not care about the blobfish being at risk of extinction and people only seem to take care of the good looking animals.
