Google Driverless car

Google has been developing revolutionary technologies for quite some time. Although they remain best known for their search engine, they continue to expand into other areas of technology. Their most recent attempt at new technology has been creating a lot of controversy, The driverless car is going to revolutionize driving as we know it. Drivers may not even be needed any more, and it may eventually expand to be more than just driving cars. Eventually our whole world may be driven by robot.

Many people have gone against these ideas because they want to preserve jobs. The driverless Car could completely take over taxi services as well as eventually taking over aircraft piloting. Self landing helicopters have started to be developed for military purposes and some cars already can park for you.

People are attempting to make arguments about the safety of the car saying that it is not capable of reacting the same way  a human can. Google's response to this was a presentation of all the accident the car had been involved in. The first accident occurring before the car had been automated and was being driven by a human. The second accident being a rear end that happened at a traffic light that was to fault of the human driver. The automated driver is actually much safer and will prevent accidents.

Although it is far from complete the idea of automated cars is present in Nevada, the only state offering licensing to automated cars. Eventually we may see automated cars driving everywhere and rely almost completely on technology to get us places.
